My taste
I have my own taste like every person. This only contains the things which I really enjoyed. I have seen more than this. The posters are from tmdb. I do not own the pictures, and will take them down when asked by tmdb.
The sections in this list are mostly ranked on how much I like things. Click on a movie to see more details. Most of these details are just summaries. Reviews might be a bad name, but that can change. I will make some of those more detailed.

Horror movies which are hard to watch
These movies have a great story, but it is also very disturbing. Most people probably want to avoid these. I enjoyed them though.
In fact these movies are pretty incredible is a way. These movies are not supposed to be fun. These movies have a deep underlying message, even though not everyone sees them.

Hard to watch horror movies which I don't recommend
Read about these movies before you risk watching them!
Sure, these movies deserve to be seen by some people just like every movie. It are still movies, but you probably want to avoid these. I will probably watch some of these, just to see if there is any story.
Visitor Q, I Spit On Your Grave, Grotesque, …
The Vomit Gore movies
I have a whole page about the movies from Lucifer Valentine. You might want to check it out.
Melancholie der Engel
This movie was just a mess in my opinion. It lacks a story. It is just gross for being gross. The music is alright and it has a weird atmosphere.
I get why some see this as the most disturbing movie, but it is not to me. Men Behind The Sun was a better movie and was more disturbing in my opinion.
Inside (2007)
I can’t completely say that it sucks. The effects are great, but the story is pretty much what you expect. It is not much more than I expected. It is ok if you watch for gore and like slashers.
August Underground trilogy
Eh, it has good effects. Not that much story in my opinion, but the director of it, is a nice guy. He had a reason to create it. I am just not into found footage stuff.
The second one (Mordum) felt like actually killers would make it. The effects are often a bit overdone though. Anyway, it are just movies you watch for the effects in my opinion. The movies are kinda boring in my opinion?
Nekromantik
Nekromantik (1 & 2) have a great soundtracks, but the story is boring and slow. The brutal animal killing (a rabbit in the first and a seal in the second movie) is the only really shocking thing in my opinion.
The seal part had disturbing music on top of it. That part was distgusting and actually worked very well as shock. It was the only really well done part in the franchise in my opinion. Too bad that the story of the movie is way too slow and uninteresting.
Those videos were not made for the movie, but taken from slaughter footage, so that is at least a good thing. I don’t think that anything should die to create film or art, but using existing material is ok in my book.
Culture changes with time. Stuff which was ok in the past is not always ok now, so my look at older movies which had animal cruelty is different, even though I don’t encourage it.
The Human Centipede
I have seen The Human Centipede (1). The story was very weak in my opinion. There was no point in watching it. I haven’t seen the sequels, because they are probably just as uninteresting.
It is not that graphic. It feels like it is just made to be called “sick”. The movie was just bad. Not even in a good way. It wasn’t super graphical and the story was predictable. It was pretty boring.
Drama movies
Weird stuff, I guess? (series and movies)
