Braindead (also known as Dead Alive) movie
This movie has such a simple story, but the movie itself is so well-done. It is scary and has dark humor. Absolutely loved it. It is one of the best horror movies in my opinion.
This is from someone who usually does not like zombie movies, and this movie has zombies.
It has the typical gore effects from Peter Jackson though. Be warned, it contains gore and you might not like that.
Don’t think that he can’t do horror because he directed Lord of The Rings. This movie is at the top of this list for a reason.
You probably will like Bad Taste too if you liked this. It is a Horror Sci-fi Comedy by Peter Jackson.
