Which movie should I watch?
Watch both. Start with The Girl Next Door. Both movies are great. I think I like An American Crime more, but really, you should watch both. They are both well-made.

The story is loosely based on the murder of Sylvia Likens. An American Crime is the closest to the real case, but the real case is much worse.
