Olivia’s videos are informational, but often Ι feel like something is missing. Carefree wandering is more trustworthy in my opinion.
For philosophy it is often good to read the source material yourself, and do research yourself. Olivia has read the sources she talks about, but I think she sometimes misunderstands sources, like Nietzsche. That doesn’t mean that you can’t like her interpretation though.
A red flag for not taking everything she says for granted is that she felt inspired by “Philosophy Tube”. Carefree wandering mentions how certain videos of “Philosophy Tube” do not explain certain philosophical ideas well. I do find the videos of “Philosophy Tube” not broad enough, and often not well researched. Sometimes the ideas on “Philosophy Tube” contradict themselves.
